These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of HopeRiver Domains’ website and services. HopeRiver Domains is operated by The WealthGen Institute. By using our services, you agree to these Terms.
Our Services
HopeRiver Domains provides a bundled service covering domain registration, website design and development, web hosting, security monitoring (SSL, backups, malware scanning), and business email, offered for a flat recurring fee described to you at the time of signup.
Domain Registration
Domain registrations are processed through our reseller relationship with GoDaddy / Wild West Domains and are subject to their registration agreements, as well as the policies of ICANN and the relevant domain registry. Domain ownership, transfer, and renewal are governed by those third-party terms in addition to this agreement.
Fees and Billing
Our services are billed as described to you at signup — typically a one-time setup fee plus a recurring flat monthly fee covering domain renewal, hosting, security, and email. Fees are subject to change with reasonable advance notice. Failure to pay may result in suspension of services, including your website, hosting, and domain, after a notice period.
Cancellation
You may cancel your service at any time by contacting us. Upon cancellation, we will work with you on next steps regarding your domain and any content you wish to retain. Fees already paid are generally non-refundable except where required by law or otherwise agreed in writing.
Your Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate information when requested (including for domain registration, which has legal accuracy requirements under ICANN policy)
- Use our services for lawful purposes only
- Not use your website or email to send spam, host illegal content, or infringe on others’ intellectual property
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate services for violations of these Terms.
Website Content
You retain ownership of the content, trademarks, and materials specific to your business that are used on your website. HopeRiver Domains retains rights to any underlying template, framework, or reusable design system used to build it, except as otherwise agreed in writing.
Service Availability
We aim to keep hosted websites available and performing well, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free service. Scheduled maintenance, third-party outages (including at our hosting and registrar partners), and events outside our reasonable control may affect availability.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, HopeRiver Domains and The WealthGen Institute are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services, including lost business, lost data, or lost revenue. Our total liability for any claim relating to our services is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.
Third-Party Services
Our services rely on current and future third-party providers, including our reseller platform (GoDaddy / Wild West Domains) and form-processing tools (Formspree). We are not responsible for outages, policy changes, or issues originating from these third parties, though we will work to resolve their impact on your service where reasonably possible.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, without regard to its conflict of law principles, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
